I was building web pages back in the GeoCities days and bought my first domain in 1996. What started as a hobby became a business, and then several. I’ve built and run sites for myself and for clients, built a web hosting company and sold it, and written software extensions that other people’s stores run on. Some ventures worked and some didn’t, and I learned from both.
Why home service contractors.
I kept watching skilled tradespeople lose work for reasons that had nothing to do with their craft: a site nobody found, thin reviews, a missed call. Meanwhile, contractors with average work and a faster response were booked solid.

- One contractor per trade, per market. I will never put two clients in direct competition. It’s like a real estate agent representing both the buyer and the seller. It can be done, but someone always loses out.
- Founder-led. Every client has direct access to me. When a project needs specialist hands, a project manager works under my name, and I stay accountable for the result.
- Small by design. I take on five new clients a month, so each one gets real attention.
- Straight talk. I’ll tell you which step to take first and which to skip. No guarantees, no tricks, no fake reviews.

Lionshead Digital, Inc. was founded in 2021 by Don Higbee, who has been online since 1996. Every client works with Don directly, and vetted specialist partners support projects when needed.
Do you work with competing contractors?
No. We work with one contractor per trade in each market, so we never put two clients in direct competition with each other.

Our focus is home service contractors. That focus is what lets us build a plan that fits how your customers choose.
